About
Nick is an eagle scout and an avid cyclist and skier. He was a member of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) Maryland Interscholastic Cycling League (MICL) Gunpowder Mill Racers youth mountain biking team. He is now a Level III NICA coach. He coaches the Gunpowder Mill Racers, teaches bike repair classes and contributes to the overall NICA MICL community.
Tire Measuring Device
NICA requires tires to be at least 1.75 inches wide. Nick designed and 3D printed a device for ensuring the tires of race bikes meet the requirements. If the device fits over the tire, the tire is too narrow to use.
